When you book a session with Rejoicing Hearts Photography, you get so much more than an hour of our time and disc full of snap shots. Our goal is to turn your family memories into treasured works of art that will be enjoyed for generations to come. That's why your experience with us starts well before  you get in front of the camera.

Before the session:

We begin with an in-person or phone consultation, where we discuss your goals and desires for the session. We get to know your family and understand your expectations and what makes you comfortable so that your session can be as fun and smooth as possible. We will decide on location and time for your session during this consultation based on the look you are desiring to achieve. Do you want artwork for a specific location in your home? We will make sure to capture images that fit well with your family's personality and style as well as your home's decor. We can even take measurements at this point to ensure we can help you with selecting prints and products that perfectly meet your needs after your session. Need help choosing your outfits for the big day? We are available via email or phone up until the day of your session to answer any questions that may arise.

During the session:

Our goal during the session is to capture your family's unique personailty and make true memories. Our clients often express that they didn't expect to have so much fun during a photo session! While we pose and direct you throughought the session we also will encourage interaction through prompting your family. Don't expect to just be forced into stiff poses and told to say "Cheese!". A session with Rejoicing Hearts Photography is much more relaxed and often feels like catching up with an old friend.

After the session:

Once your actual session is complete, the real work for us begins. We spend time curating and hand editing and retouching each of your images so that every one is a work of art. Once we are satisfied with your complete set of images, we print them all as proofs and set up an appointment for your Reveal. During your Reveal, you will be presented with a slideshow of your images and then get to see them in print via the proofs. We will sort through your images, decide on favorites and discuss your desires for prints and products and you will place your final order.  We then carefully prepare your images for print and create your final products, which we will hand deliver and even help hang in their new homes.
